Nicolene Vlok (Prinsloo) qualified in 2003 with a B.Communication Pathology degree from the University of Pretoria. She started her community service in 2004 at 3 Military Hospital in Bloemfontein. Here she focused specifically on the detection of Noise Induced Hearing Loss, due to military personnel being exposed to excessive noise (shooting, bombing etc.)
In 2005 she joined the HEARCARE group of Audiologists in Krugersdorp. She became more tuned-in to hearing problems that affect the general public, like Tinnitus (ringing in the ears), crucial Balance Problems affecting everyday life and Noise-Induced Hearing Loss.
Linden Hearing Centre (currently part of Therapyrooms) was founded by Nicolene in 2006, where essential Audiology services are currently provided to adults and children in the Linden community and surrounding areas.
In 2008 Nicolene started Bergbron Hearing Centre and expanded Linden Hearing Centre by employing Christelle Joubert to keep up with the demands of a busy practice. Need necessitated further expansion and thus Milpark Balance and Hearing Clinic was launched, where they work closely with Dr. Nadir Kana, an Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist.
At Milpark, Hearing and Balance disorders are diagnosed and treated in a clinical setting.

Christelle Joubert qualified in 2003 as Speech-Language Therapist and Audiologist from the University of Pretoria. She did her community service in 2004 at the Free State Department of Health, where she worked in a multi-disciplinary team with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dieticians and Doctors.
The following two years she worked at a private practice were she gained experience in adult and paediatric diagnostic hearing tests and hearing aid fittings. She also did neo-natal hearing screening and industrial audiology.
She moved to England in 2006 where she worked for the National Health Service as Audiologist in different hospitals in and around London. She returned in 2008 and commenced work for a well-known international hearing aid company.
Here she was trained in the latest cutting edge hearing aid technology. She attended various workshops in South Africa, as well as Denmark and trained many other Audiologists in hearing aid technology and fitting.
She joined Nicolene Vlok's practice in May 2011 and is passionate about hearing, Audiology and helping people.
