Mariska Odendaal

Mariska graduated at the University of the Witwatersrand with a BSc Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2012. She completed her community service year at Helen Joseph hospital in Auckland park, during this time she worked in the Intensive care unit, orthopedic department, out patient department and general hospital wards. During this period she learnt a lot and that year of community service equipped her for the future.

In 2014 Mariska moved to Pretoria where she worked in private practice and hospitals in Pretoria East. She worked predominantly in the cardio-thoracic ICU, cardiac wards and post-operative care as well as out-patients consisting of various types of patients.

In the beginning of 2015 she started working at a practice in Linden and in August 2015 she got the opportunity to become a co-owner of Mariska Odendaal Physiotherapy in Linden.

She completed the Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy course (OMT1) course in 2015 as well as several other short courses such as:

• Dry Needling
• KT tape
• Shoulder Courses
• Lower limb courses
• Ethics courses
• Movement analysis
• First aid

Rebekah Hobbs

Rebekah Hobbs was born and raised in Pinelands in Cape Town, a very similar suburb to Linden. She graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2014 and completed her community service in Musina at Messina Hospital in Limpopo. Thereafter, she moved to Johannesburg where she began work at a large practice in Randburg for 3 years. Rebekah has a thirst for knowledge and a passion for physiotherapy. She is passionate about helping patients improve their health-related quality of life while building good relationships. Rebekah has a special interest in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. She is also particularly interested in scoliosis and Persistent Pain Management.
